When producer David Croft needed to replace the ailing Jack Haig as the endearingly daft LeClerc in 'Allo, Allo (1982-92) he turned to a master of slapstick, Derek Royle. Lay the moss over the wire frame and secure in place using florists' wire. Gather small bunches of freshly cut foliage then secure them in place by wrapping the wire around several times.
