A record-breaking spellathon
On 4 June, 1,397 people sat at desks in rows on the Champs-Elysées, a famous road in Paris, to take part in a record-breaking spellathon. In the competition, text was read out in French and contestants had to write it down correctly. The event was the world’s largest ever dictation (reading aloud for people to copy).
