On 19 April, 33 primary school pupils gathered for a meeting of the Children’s Parliament at the House of Lords to discuss the future of the internet and how they can stay safe online. The Children’s Parliament brings together young people aged seven to 11 to talk about important issues with people in Parliament.
The meeting, which was led by Baroness Uddin, a member of the House of Lords, focused on the future of the internet, known as Web 3.0, and the metaverse, a part of the internet with 3D virtual spaces where users can socialise, learn and play together.
