Tobias Weller, aged 11, has become the youngest person ever to receive a British Empire Medal, which is given to people for service to the community. Tobias, who is autistic and has cerebral palsy (a group of conditions that affect movement and coordination), was inspired by fundraising hero Captain Sir Tom Moore. Tobias has raised £158,000 for charity after completing two marathons and a triathlon (swimming, cycling and running). He also held a sponsored walk around his local park in Sheffield, England, to raise money for a playground. “Knowing I have helped other children is a lovely feeling,” he said.
