Upstairs in the offices above his new venue on Denmark Street, Soho, Yungblud – real name Dominic Harrison – is railing against rigid genre stereotypes.
“It’s rock. It’s not rock’n’roll any more. But I like rock’n’roll music. That’s what I listen to.”
The Doncaster-born musician is speaking from a carved wooden throne, a fitting perch for the 28-year-old who many have dubbed British rock’s heir apparent.
