STAR LETTER COASTAL COSIES I picked up crocheting during the pandemic and wanted to start knitting as well, but no pattern had struck me – then I glimpsed the octopus tea cosy on the cover of issue 226 of Simply Knitting! As a coastal dweller with more than their fair share of loose leaf tea, the pattern (and the subsequent coastal-themed tea cosies) couldn't have been more of a perfect start to learning. Black sheep Wools is a yarn shop and online store based in the village of Culcheth, near Warrington in Cheshire.
