Digging in the dirt is a favorite summertime activity of mine. Evenings and weekends, you’ll find me weeding the flower beds or picking snow peas, lettuce and chard for a dinner salad. It’s fun to cook with food you’ve grown, and using vintage recipes that remind you of Mom’s cooking brings back such homey memories.
