The fallout from Matthew Perry’s fatal accidental overdose continues. On Dec. 3 Dr. Salvador Plasencia, 44, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after pleading guilty in July to four counts of distribution of ketamine, the U.S. attorney’s office for the Central District of California said. The beloved Friends star, 54, was found dead on Oct. 28, 2023, in the hot tub at his Pacific Palisades, Calif., home after suffering a ketamine overdose, according to the autopsy report. Plasencia is one of five people to plead guilty in Perry’s death and the first to be sentenced.
