Despite Covid-19 travel restrictions, one London-based biker has decided to escape it all with a 6000-mile epic to Croatia.
The only spanner in the works is how to get home. Croatia has just been removed from the safe list, along with various other spots en route. Right now, coming home is very much on the back burner.
Secondary school technician, Mandell Forrest, 30, set off on his 2000-plate Yamaha Fazer 600 on Sunday, July 26 and arrived in Croatia on Friday, August 7 – having carved a path through France, Belgium, Italy and Slovenia.
He said: “I didn’t really plan anything because, with the pandemic, I didn’t think that travel would be a possibility.”
