Naked bikes are where the market is right now. This is partly because people are realising that they can’t ride anywhere near the limits of a sports 600, never mind a 1000, partly because serious speeding is as likely to get you jailed as fined, and partly because older riders want to hark back to the bikes they remember from their youth.
That includes me, I suppose, but then I’ve also got a Kawasaki H2 Ninja, so perhaps not. You’ve got Triumph Bonnevilles, KTM Dukes, Ducati Scramblers, Moto Guzzi V7s, perhaps half a dozen Kawasakis, but none of them is cheap, new or used.
