In 2019, California broke me. The state was driving me nuts. I had to escape. So, I chose Tennessee to getaway. In my lifetime, this was my second visit to Tennessee. When I was a child, age 7 or 8, our family took a family vacation through the Appalachian Mountains. Back then, we visited Gatlinburg, Chattanooga, as well as Lookout Mountain, site of one of the more famous battles of the civil war. I still have the photos from that trip.
