The rules are simple: Any competitor that runs over 200 mph (only after Day One) and completes Drag Week is eligible for entry into the prestigious club.
Alex Taylor drove the family’s 1955 Chevy 210 to a high speed of 203.12 on Wednesday during the stop at Byron Dragway. She was competing in the Ultimate Iron class, which requires a 3,000-pound minimum weight, and lightweight body components are limited to bumpers, hoods, decklids, rear hatches, fenders, and doors. The body must also retain the factory profile and strictly prohibits any cutting or chopping.
