“A SPECIAL place where disabled children and adults have found freedom, happiness and confidence” will stay open for at least another six months, but its “future depends on local leadership and support”.
The Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Unicorn Centre, Middlesbrough, was at risk of closure owing to financial pressures. Trustees said after huge support, avenues were being explored to save it. But thanks to support from RDA UK, it will stay open for at least six months.
