Tragically, once-strapping construction boss Dean, 80, is now housebound as the 76-year-old songbird desperately tries to help him remember their times together.
“Dolly will enter a room to talk to Carl, and she sometimes sees a look of bewilderment on his face, like he doesn’t know where he is or even who she is,” says a source.
