A COCKTAIL of prescription pills left golf great Tiger Woods unconscious behind the wheel of his Mercedes last year, near his $54 million Jupiter, Fla., home. The engine was still running.
Roused by cops around 2 a.m., his speech was slurred and he couldn’t walk unaided. Tiger, 42, was arrested after failing a field sobriety test. When asked if he understood instructions to recite the alphabet, he said, “Yes, recite entire national anthem backwards.” He later claimed he had “an unexpected reaction” to prescription drugs including Vicodin.
The serial cheater, whose wife, Elin, dumped him in 2009, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and entered a program that included a year’s probation.…
