A new legal challenge has been filed against Jesse Butler, after a controversial plea deal allowed the teenager to avoid prison, despite being convicted of serious offences linked to sex attacks on two fellow students in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Butler, now 18, was charged with first-degree rape, domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and was facing up to 78 years in prison after entering a plea of no contest.
