Link text to websites and other files
It can be very useful to link text in your Office files to a website or other files. We’ll show you how to do this in Word, but the process also works for Excel and PowerPoint
First, select the text you want to link, click the Insert tab, then Hyperlink (in the Links section). To link your text to a website, copy the website’s URL, paste it into the Address field at the bottom, then click OK. To link it to another Office file on your PC, click Browsed Pages on the left of the Insert Hyperlink window, click the small folder icon (see screenshot), navigate to the file you want to link text to, then click OK.
