IN YEARS GONE by, if you found that one of your lenses wasn’t quite behaving as it should, then you had to typically ship it off to the manufacturer, or a third-party repair centre, for a check over, service, or repair. If the issue was mis-focusing, then you could play with your camera’s microadjustment (where available) to make small changes.
