ADAM HANDLING’S UGLY BUTTERFLY RESTAURANT MOVES TO NEWQUAY
Chef Adam Handling MBE has relocated his Cornish restaurant, Ugly Butterfly, from St Ives to the Headland Hotel in Newquay. The menu of bold, sustainable dishes highlights the south-west’s best ingredients, including Porthilly oysters, smaller, sweeter St Ives lobsters, and produce from Mitchell Fruit Garden. Signature dishes include ‘Lobster wagyu’, Texel cross lamb, tandoori cauliflower, nasturtium, and tarte tatin, and the wine list will be one of the most extensive in Cornwall.
Ugly Butterfly 2.0 will seat 50 inside, 20 on the terrace, and 30 in the bar, blending theatre with a laid-back, welcoming experience.
Adam’s growing presence in the county, including his nearby gastropub The Tartan Fox, reflects his strong ties to Cornwall. To book, call 01637 872211 or visit adamhandling.co.uk.…
