Perhaps, thanks to its 27 million sales, you’ve forgotten how scenesters derided Come Away With Me, yet here’s Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, alongside his son, Spencer, collaborating with her on two songs. She doesn’t really need their endorsement: “I sing my songs,” she points out on I’m Alive, adding “I hope someone sings along”, and surely they would, whether or not Tweedy Snr added guitar to it or doleful closer Heaven Above.
