Each April, South Africa’s hunting, shooting and outdoor communities converge in Johannesburg for HuntEx. Held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, the 2025 expo confirmed its place as the country’s premier showcase of firearms, gear, safari services and bush-ready equipment. Now in its 13th year, the event has grown into a large-scale, multi-faceted gathering that goes well beyond exhibition. HuntEx 2025 was as much an ecosystem as it was a trade show - part marketplace, part cultural touchstone.
