Last summer, Gareis went back to her hometown of Lancaster, PA to film Infernal, a psychological thriller set in Amish country. “I play an Amish woman who is still a virgin — she’s saving herself for marriage, but she ends up being kind of kooky in the head,” says the actress. “We filmed it a half hour from where my mom and dad live, so I stayed with them. Two of my brothers and my sister were involved in the film behind the scenes.
