Fascinated by research that suggests drugs can be used to modulate the amorous impulses, Nadja Zerunian conceived a physical and pharmaceutical representation of three building blocks of love. Glass specialist Lobmeyr created crystal receptacles, metal artisans Victor Clopotar and Martin Hufnagl crafted the gold-plated copper spoons and spatulas, while Saint Charles Apothecary developed Zerunian’s potions: Lust is an ingestible powder made from clary sage, parsley, arginine and saffron; Attraction is a liquid made from yohimbine, ginseng and maca; and Attachment is a wearable concoction brewed from bergamot, rose, jasmine, sandalwood and ambergris.
