140g butter (or margarine)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
½ tsp almond essence
2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 cup milk
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well. Stir in the vanilla essence. Sift the flour (mixed with baking powder and salt), one cup at a time alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth and bake in a greased 20x30cm tray in a preheated oven at 180°C, for +/-25 minutes.
Cool completely and then pour the Just Peachy Cream Cheese Glaze over and decorate with sliced canned peaches.
