The Isiaiah 54 Children’s Sanctuary is a registered NPO that has been a safe house for abused and abandoned babies and children since 2005.
The children’s home, based on the Bluff in Durban, has 10 children in its care and is in need of a number of items this Mandela Day.
Glynnis Dauth, the founder of the home, said: “We are always in need of groceries, especially meat. The full list of items that we need is on our Facebook page @Isiaiah54cs.”
The needs list includes nappies (sizes 4, 5 and 6), cough syrup, plasters, rice, pasta, cereal, fruit, bread and toiletries.
