Lifestyle diseases develop as a result of our lifestyle choices. These are diseases such as obesity, hypertension, and heart disease. Though these diseases can be life threatening, the diagnosis is not a death sentence. Things can easily be turned around by making lifestyle changes, such as being physically active and incorporating more fresh fruit and vegetables into our diet, as well as portion control.
