Hoesten, Sr., passed away in December at the age of 74, but Erika Slezak (Viki) tells Soaps In Depth that he was a “wonderful man” whom she won’t soon forget. “He was an excellent stage manager with strength and control, and a marvelous sense of humor, which got us through many a difficult day,” she confides. OUR TAKE GH Hot Topic: Are You Buying Anna And Finn’s Romance? It’s been an impressive thing to watch the turning of the tide among viewers when it comes to Anna and Finn — and a testament to both the GENERAL HOSPITAL scribes and the actors playing the unlikely romance! Although we were immediately smitten with the adorably awkward and sexy pairing, many viewers balked. Some were still smarting over Hayden dumping Finn. Others simply didn’t buy that Anna would get involved with someone like Finn. But as the two bantered through their fear of commitment while battling a baddie, we saw the audience slowly warming up to the couple.
