Back in 2015, we visited Anette in her wonderful apartment in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, and she was one of the first people who invited us back to her home. In fact, using cones as decoration items like we do now is a luxury version of the paper cones that were used as packaging in the good old days. When people went shopping to the local store, their goods were placed in paper cones. Today, they are mainly used as Christmas decoration items but why not use them at Easter as well? What you need: Self-hardening clay Stamps with motifs Wood glue Cardboard cones Rusty fencing wire Sand White paint Coffee for patinating Brown furniture wax A selection of brushes, punch pliers, pliers etc. What to do: Use your hands to press the clay flat so that it fits the motif. Press the entire motif into the clay. Brush some wood glue onto the cone and attach the motif onto it whilst the clay is still wet. Allow the clay to dry completely. Paint…

Idea: Use other feathers and paint with other colors if you’d like to create a different expression. What to do: Start by drawing a basket. Cut out an opening for the decoration items to be pressed into later. Glue small pieces of crepe paper onto it to cover it completely. Paint the basket with paint mixed with plaster of Paris powder. Decorate the basket with paper with writing on it. Add the handle by using the two holes that you’ve made with the punch pliers. Now your basic basket is done and you can decorate it. Cut a hare out of some strong cardboard and paint it. Place the hare in the basket opening and adorn with dried corn leaves, the bell and the shredded sheet. Adorn the other basket with eggs that…
