On 2 March, the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer held a summit (meeting) of international leaders in London to discuss the situation in Ukraine. Ukraine and Russia have been at war since 2014. In 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Who was at the meeting?
Most of the 19 leaders at the meeting were from Europe. They included the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, the French president Emmanuel Macron and the head of NATO (a military partnership between 32 countries). Justin Trudeau, the leader of Canada, was also there. After the summit, Starmer said several things had been agreed.
