This March held a big surprise for me - I won three whopping jackpots playing Pick Me Up! Bingo. That made it four, as this was after a big jackpot win only a year beforehand. It was Valentine’s Day last year, and I was playing bingo in Emerald, and had bought 18 tickets for 36p before I had to get ready for the day. Gammon with honey and pickle glaze Serves 10 Prep: 10 min Cook: 2 hr 30 min ◻ 2.25kg unsmoked boneless gammon joint ◻ 6 bay leaves ◻ 1½tbsp pink peppercorns, lightly crushed ◻ 4tbsp Branston Smooth Pickle ◻ 3tbsp runny honey 1 Place the gammon in a large pan. FOILED AGAIN! Christmas wrapping has never been my forte! So, in 1998, while I was working for the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes, when they introduced a gift-wrapping service for the customers, my mum – who was my boss – decided I needed to learn and gave me the first shift.
