Following sister brands Husqvarna and GasGas, KTM have updated their 85cc mini motocrosser for 2025, making several changes to the junior racing machine, which will be available soon for £6399.
Aimed at riders aged between 11-15 years old, the two-stroke SX85 has undergone revisions including a new engine design, a completely new sub-frame, swingarm, and main-frame with different geometry compared to its predecessor, and a larger diameter 20mm rear axle.
Tweaks to the motor include a new cylinder head and spark plug, ignition, exhaust, shift drum, and updated carburettor settings to allow for improved low to midrange power.
The engine itself has been rotated 3° upwards in the frame.
