Picture the scene: it’s dark outside, you’re walking home after a party or work drinks. It feels early enough to walk alone, but you quicken your pace just in case, your heart beating out of your chest. You feel uneasy about your heels clattering down the street, and can’t help but think you’re being followed, or an easy target.
Unfortunately, this feeling is all too common for most of us. According to Stop Street Harassment, one in five females have been followed at least once. But one woman is hoping to put an end to these moments of fear by preparing us for any dangerous situation, all while wearing heels.
