Search for items within all your apps
Android’s digital assistant app, Google Now, has been updated with a new feature that lets you search for items within popular apps on your device. The feature is currently limited to certain apps, including your contacts and messages, Gmail, Evernote, Google Keep, YouTube, Facebook, Wikipedia, The Guardian and Daily Mail. However, Google is expanding this list.
To perform a search, open the Google Now app (a white circular icon with a multicoloured G inside), enter your search term and tap the search icon.
