One exception is Korg Wavestate: Wave Sequencing 2.0 makes it an inspiring hardware synthesizer that currently no virtual instrument can completely replace. It looks complex, but you should simply view it as an „oscillator-filter-synth“with up to four layers plus effects section and let yourself be inspired by the wave sequencing lanes via trial & error.
