AT the other end of its line-ups from the R models (left), VW is reintroducing its Match trim levels for 10 of its cars. It will be offered on the Polo supermini, T-Cross and T-Roc compact SUVs, the Taigo coupé-SUV, the Touran MPV and the latest Tiguan.
For all but the Touran, Match serves as the mid-range choice, sitting above the established Life specification. It adds luxuries such as larger alloy wheels and tinted windows, but for an extra £175 to £705, depending on the model.
Match trim is also being offered on some of VW’s EVs for the first time. With the ID.4 and ID.5, Match slots in at the bottom of the range, so the ID.4 starts at £42,640, while the ID.5 is priced from £45,860, the latter…
