Interestingly, those noble gestures only served to magnify the fact that Peter’s attempt to be a better man has been a fail of the epic variety! In spite of the sweetness he’s shown Maxie and his surprisingly adorable way with kids, Peter has confirmed he’s still a cold-blooded villain — you know, the kind that employs henchmen to commit murder! GENERAL HOSPITAL has spent some time at Sonny’s coffee warehouse of late, and we’ve seen the made man exert his influence when necessary… but the don’s Mob life has been mostly backburnered. Then, over the course of a week, Sonny’s enemies suddenly seemed to be lining up for favors! No sooner had Scotty reluctantly asked Sonny to be a backup plan where Franco was concerned than Valentin came knocking to suggest the coffee importer take out Cassandra! Carly, meanwhile, had a heart-to-heart with Josslyn about her stepdad’s dangerous enemies… and then Cassandra warned Sonny that their colleagues were eyeing him and his territory! When Godfrey isn’t saving lives as a doctor in Salem, she’s traveling the world with her actor beau, Breckin Meyer. “We usually try to do one trip for a couple of days, just he and I, in the summer,” she shares. “I usually pick where to go, and he’ll find the hotel.” The couple’s latest retreat led them south of the border to Cancun’s Nizuc Resort. “We had a good time… We ate lots of good food and drank a lot of drinks.” Although Godfrey describes the Mexican hot spot as “really beautiful,” it didn’t compare to the previous year’s trip to the South Pacific. “I think I’m spoiled rotten from Bora Bora. GH’s Carly had accused Sonny of trying to save Dev because the kid presented a problem he could solve — unlike their unborn baby’s spina bifida. After she balked at telling her mother about the diagnosis and started a fight with Sonny, however, it was clear that he wasn’t the only one avoiding fear by focusing on the teenagers in the house! Bobbie’s visit to the Corinthos kitchen was the perfect opportunity for Carly to finally share the complications of her pregnancy. Shiloh’s Last Stand! Disguised as a cop, Shiloh carjacked Bobbie, kidnapped the son he believed to be his and boarded the Haunted Star. Then he called Peter — who’d double-crossed him and tried to have him eliminated — and demanded money for his silence. Unfortunately for Shiloh, runaway Dev was hiding out on the ship and called for help. Though the teen was unconscious when Sam arrived, he awoke and escaped with Wiley while she distracted Shiloh. With the walls closing in, Shiloh took off without the money… but with Sam! JASON PLAYS HERO Abandoned by the side of the road, Bobbie had a diabetic attack and collapsed.
