Soaps In Depth: What do each of you bring to the canvas, style wise? How do your approaches differ, and how do those differences make you stronger as a team? Jean Passanante: First of all, we both know that soap opera is fundamentally a romantic storytelling form, and we both approach it from that angle. I think we both believe that story comes from character, and we both approach character from a personal, emotional point of view.
