Eddie Alderson, who spent many of his childhood years playing ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Matthew, has been diagnosed with lymphoma. “While this journey will not be easy,” the optimistic actor revealed on social media, “I know that together with all of my family and friends, we will beat this! Just a bump in the road on this crazy ride we call life! I will keep all of you updated as we go along.” According to a follow-up by his older sister, Kristen Alderson (Starr; ex-Kiki, GH), doctors determined that the 22-year-old had “very treatable” Hodgkins lymphoma, and he began chemotherapy a few days before Thanksgiving.
