3D PORTRAITS I am always looking for inspiration and new ideas in my work and I read a lot of philosophical writings, covering topics like universal reality, human condition and existence. I came across Arthur Schopenhauer’s writing during my research. His thoughts gave me great inspiration to tackle subjects that we usually take for granted and never question, such as the self, time, matter, thoughts, culture, etc. In the end, this project was inspired not only by how his thoughts and metaphysics influenced me, but also by its technical difficulties, and the things I wanted to learn when doing a realistic 3D portrait.
