Dhramalingum “Dan” Pillay, who was missing in Mumbai, India, has been reunited with his family.
Pillay, 69, from oThongathi, arrived in Durban on Sunday.
With flowers and a welcome-home balloon, family members embraced Pillay when they saw him.
Pillay, who suffers from short-term memory loss, disappeared from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai on January 30.
He was with his daughter, Rabecca Pillay, 34.
They were waiting to board a flight back to South Africa via Nairobi at the time. She fell asleep after a flight delay. When she woke up, she was unable to locate him. With the help of authorities in India and the media, a nationwide search started.
