The brother of slain Overport businessman Zeyn Moideen said his family were still soldiering on after charges were recently dropped against one of the suspects.
Moideen, 41, was shot multiple times in front of his children after a soccer match in April 2022. Reesin Perumal, 37, who was believed to be the mastermind behind the killing, is now free.
Perumal handed himself over to the police last August. The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), however, withdrew the charges, citing insufficient evidence.
Three co-accused Sbonelo Madanono Shangase, 31, Talent Mkhize, 26, and Mcabangeleni Mkhize, 26, still face charges in relation to the incident.
