NEW research shows eating specific foods — and avoiding others — can have a big impact on prostate cancer. Harvard University scientists studied the diets and lifestyle of more than 1,000 men in the early stages and determined certain foods seem to feed the disease. For instance, patients who ate eggs every day had TWICE the risk of their cancer spreading. And those who ate chicken and turkey were FOUR times more likely to have the disease grow. Milk was also seen to stimulate cancer cells. However, just a bit of broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower or kale on a daily basis cut the risk of the cancer spreading by more than HALF.
