CES kicked off the new year in tech, and as usual there were many wild and wacky technologies on display, from ultrasonic kitchen knives to robot vacuums that can climb stairs, and even the mythical and long sought after solid-state battery made an appearance.
However, for PC enthusiasts, the show was a little light on new products and technologies that drive our favourite segment, namely CPUs and GPUs. Nvidia’s 3-hour-long keynote was completely consumed by AI, most of which was targeted at enterprises and businesses, which is ironic given the name of the event: the Consumer Electronics Show.
Nvidia did have some technologies to reveal, though, in the form of DLSS 4.5 and G-Sync Pulsar, both very impressive technologies in their own right, but not exactly something that drives new…
