Ryan Murphy must be the world’s busiest TV showrunner. In the last two years alone, he’s made American Sports Story, Grotesquerie, Doctor Odyssey, Mid-Century Modern, 9-1-1: Nashville and Monster. There’s a lot of dark, creepy stuff in that list, but also loads of out-and-out colourful fun as well, and this new show, which he created, wrote and (mostly) directed, is definitely in the latter category. This LA-set romp is all glitz and glamour, with actual Kim Kardashian in one of the key roles.
