Whether it was the formation of the Premier League in 1992 or the World Cup expanding to 48 teams this year, a competition rebrand always seems to ruffle a few feathers. Even the most casual of fans in 2026 will tell you that a bespoke kit is far superior to any template that a brand has handed out to multiple teams with as little effort as possible.
