The script of The Trial of the Chicago 7 film was written by Aaron Sorkin in 2007 and due to be directed by Stephen Spielberg. However, as time went on, Sorkin adapted the script and Spielberg dropped out. The star-studded film was released in the UK last October, in cinemas and on Netflix.
