A fleet of tiny delivery vans driven by gnomes have been hitting the road this Christmas. The gnomes, called Max, Gnorma, Gnibbles, Gnicky and Gnarla began their deliveries in London on 9 December, passing through Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds and ending their rounds in Glasgow on 13 December. The fully functioning gnome-sized vans are 10 times smaller than a standard supermarket delivery vehicle, measuring just 70cm long and 30cm high. There’s just enough space inside to carry a small load of festive treats. A spokesperson for UK supermarket Asda, who came up with the scheme, said, “Our pint-sized gnome delivery vans are a really fun way for us to keep spreading that joy this Christmas.” Is this story real or a festive fib?*
