TWO weeks after taking up his promotional post as a station commander, Captain Danasegran “Naveen” Pather, who served more than three decades in the police service, was killed in the line of duty. A TEENAGER related to two women charged with drugging and robbing a Verulam man and his neighbour, was arrested last week, after he threatened to shoot the investigating officer who had opposed bail in the matter.
