AN undisclosed number of suspects involved in the kidnapping and death of a prominent Gauteng businessman, Shamshudeen “Dawood” Faki, 67, are still at large. One of the suspects allegedly involved in Faki’s kidnapping and death was shot dead by police on Friday, after authorities traced a vehicle in his possession. Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo said they had not yet confirmed the cause of Faki’s death, as the results from a post-mortem report were still outstanding. Offshore, the tuna have been in short supply but the snoek and couta have more than made up for it. The North Coast has seen some good snoek fishing along most of the usual spots.
