AN ALLEGED gang member who was found in possession of several firearms, ammunition and police items, was granted R50 000 bail in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court last Friday. Mohammed Ebrahim Ismail, 28, of Westville, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of firearms, ammunition and State property after a search and seizure operation by Hawks members of the Durban Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit on April 18.
